Think Water’s Boring? Try these!

I’ve never had a problem drinking water personally. BUT, I’ll never pass up an opportunity to add a little flair to my life! As long as it’s easy and adds something positive (in this case deliciousness) I’ll try it!

I’ve tried quite a few water recipes (which feels a little silly typing) and I wanted to share the simplest and most delicious so you can enjoy them as well!

We’re all looking for easy improvements to our lives and this is pretty much as easy as it gets!

The first two waters have very similar detoxing properties, play around and swap the ingredients to find what you like best!

Mint Lime Refresher

Lime Mint Refresher

Makes a gallon of water, adjust to your liking!

  • 5 limes sliced or juiced
  • 1/4-1/2 Cup of Peeled and Sliced Ginger (or grated if you prefer), based on your preference.
  1. Lightly muddle the mint with your fingers or a muddler to release some oil.
  2. Add ingredients to a pitcher of water.
  3. Refrigerate. The longer it sits, the stronger it will taste.
  4. Enjoy!

*if you want to get fancy, add a sliced cucumber

Benefits:

  • Mint promotes digestion and soothes the stomach in case of indigestion, bloat or inflammation.
  • Lime gives you a burst of Vitamin C, is detoxing and immune boosting. The citric acid present in lime also acts as a fat burner.
  • This water is great for the tummy, naturally detoxing and immune boosting!

Lemon Ginger Zinger

Makes a gallon of water, adjust to your liking!

  • 2 large lemons sliced or juiced
  • 1/4-1/2 cup of peeled and sliced ginger (or grated if you prefer), based on your preference!
  1. Add ingredients to a pitcher of water.
  2. Refrigerate. The longer it sits, the stronger it will taste.
  3. Enjoy!

*can be enjoyed hot by making just ginger water and adding the lemon once it’s heated!

Benefits:

  • Ginger aids in digestion by relieving gastrointestinal distress and nausea, and is anti-inflammatory.
  • Lemon is great for flushing your system, preventing inflammation and giving your immune system a boost. It also gives you a burst of Vitamin C and is high in potassium to help restore normal fluid balance.
  • This duo is perfect to rid yourself of bloat, is naturally detoxing and keeps your immune system running perfectly!

This last one is a little less simplistic, but is verrrrry tasty– especially if you like a hint of sweetness!
