Hey friends!
Happy Hump Day!!
If you read my last post, you were probably yelling at me to spill the beans already– what are you working towards? What are you committing to for the rest of this year? Thank you for being patient. Naming my intention was very important in this process and that post turned out way longer than intended. So here goes. This project, this growth spurt, is going to be a work in progress.
The goal: “Live simply. Live bold.”
Really, that’s it?! Yes.
I know it’s nothing crazy or groundbreaking. But it’s what’s on my heart. And trust me, I’ve thought a lot about it. In the end, it’s what I think will make a huge impact on my daily life, my happiness, my dreams and my future.
I will start my journey to live simply by decluttering my home and my mind. I will simplify my commitments by spending time reflecting on who I am, what I’m here for and the vision I have for my life. And I will simplify my work by implementing clear daily habits (ew 😉 ) to stay ahead of the game. I will spend more time enjoying the process and less time being stressed out.
This week I’m focusing on my home and my mind. I’m cleaning out my clothes room (I’m lucky to have one of those) and only keeping my favorite clothing. If I don’t love it… what’s the point. I’m learning that the more clutter and choices I have, the harder it is to live with clarity. The more frustrated I am trying to find or clean things, the less time I have to enjoy the process of whatever I’m doing. This is about having less stuff. Keeping only the stuff that counts. Let’s see how I do!
What type of person are you? Do you live in abundance, simply or are you a pack rat? Do you wish you had less stuff or more? I know some people feel stressed out when they don’t have a lot of choices. I would love to hear from and learn from you!
PS– Look out for my blog tomorrow where I will share how I’m working on my decluttering my mind (that sounds weird doesn’t it).
Love and gratitude,
jahneva ❤
